Anonymous Call Rejection allows a Subscriber to reject private numbers. If someone with this service gets a call that is marked as private, the calling party will hear this recording “the number you have reached is not accepting calls from private numbers.”
The customer can turn this feature off and on as needed.
To activate this service, dial *77 you will hear a recording that “Your Anonymous Call Rejection service is now on. All incoming calls will be checked for number privacy before they are allowed to complete to your line”. Then the line disconnects.
To deactivate Anonymous Call Rejection dial *87. You will then hear a recording that “Your Anonymous Call Rejection service is off. Incoming calls will not be checked for number privacy status”. The line will then disconnect.
